The Project comprises an onshore trunk gas transmission pipeline linking the gas reserves in South Sumatra, and an integral spur pipeline, partially onshore and partially offshore, to Batam, together with auxiliary and ancillary facilities. The proposed transmission system forms an integral part of the future national gas grid. The loan has a piggy-backed TA on the Establishment of a Gas Regulatory Framework for Indonesia
