The Kazakhstan Health Sector Technology Transfer and Institutional Reform Project aims to introduce international standards and build long-term institutional capacity in the Ministry of Health and related healthcare institutions in support of key health sector reforms pursued by the Government of Kazakhstan in the context of the State Health Care Reform and Development Program. The project includes the following components: health finance and management; health care quality improvement; reform of medical education and medical science; health information system development; pharmaceutical policy reform; food safety and WTO accession; and project management.
